MONROVIA, CA – Parasoft, leading provider of software error prevention and error detection solutions, announced today that Jtest, their automatic unit testing tool for Java, has received Software Development magazine’s Jolt Product Excellence Award. The Jolt was given to Parasoft’s Jtest in honor of its significance in aiding software developers to create high quality applications with speed, ease and efficiency.
“Jtest is a premiere example of the next generation of development tools that are dramatically improving developers’ productivity,” said Roger Smith, Technical Editor of Software Development.
The Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards are an annual tradition at the Software Development West Conference. Each year, Software Development editors select products that have “jolted” the software development industry by making development teams more productive. Jtest was nominated along with four other products in the utilities category.
“Jtest was an easy choice for the Jolt Judges in the utilities category,” said Alexandra Weber Morales, Editor-in-Chief of Software Development.
“We are thrilled that Jtest has won one of the most prestigious awards in the industry,” said Parasoft CEO Dr. Adam Kolawa. “By staying on top of the needs of the development community, we have been able to consistently deliver the highest-quality development solutions. Receiving a Jolt Award confirms our leadership position in providing the latest in software development tools.”
